17% of Karnataka’s land is uncultivable and as per recent reports 60% of India’s land will become uncultivable in 2030. Already 42% of India’s population has food scarcity and world’s most malnourished citizens are in India. If this continues, crime rates in the society will increase. So there is an urgency for all we citizens to put an effort to save our land and villages.
Villages are the back bone for country’s civilization. But many villages are suffering from lack of basic amenities like sewage system, education, water, transport and nutritious food. If we don’t save our villages, entire civilization will collapse. It’s our fundamental duty to save our village, so that Maduve Oota team is starting a campaign #Save the villages, starting from Yaadgiri’s village named Ganganal. Maduve Oota team has decided to provide all the facilities and tree samplings for horticulture and agro forestry to increase soil fertility and this will also double the farmers income.
Revive Village means Revive Indian civilization.
