Mahesh spontaneously goes to the marriage hall uninvitedly along with his three friends to have a free meal. There he likes a girl – Kavitha and proposes her instantly, which creates confusion and conflict with the groom (Prakash) as Kavitha being the bride. When Mahesh was questioned he defends his action by saying he was acting as per instructions of someone else and takes Prakash to meet that person. On the way Mahesh narrates his intimate love story to Prakash and that’s when Prakash realizes Kavitha is Mahesh’s former girlfriend and he starts doubting about her character and refuses to get married. Kavitha in her defense narrates her part of the story and Prakash accepts to marry her, but will Kavitha accept to marry him ?

Development :

The writer and director of Maduve Oota movie Mahesh Loni was on the way to a hotel for lunch, he happened to pass through a marriage hall and that’s when the idea was born when he imagined what would have happened if he would go to have a free meal and fall in love with the bride and proposes her. Later that evening while travelling in train for his sister’s wedding, the idea kept running in his mind and that’s when he decided to make this into a movie under zero budget.

Filming :

Mahesh Loni was offered to work in a camera rental house as a marketing head and he accepted to work without payment but with a condition to provide the camera for the movie in free of cost when the camera is available. He used all the available contacts to setup cast and crew members for the movie. Entire movie was shot in Bangalore. Free Ola coupons were used for transportation. Most of the shooting was done in the morning and evening time and hence avoiding the food expenses.

Post Production :

Mahesh Loni convinced all the technicians to work for free of cost by showing Maduve Oota film footages. Studio owners agreed to give studios in free of cost at night for a limited period of time and hence most of the film work was done at night time.
